The role is 5 days out of 7 and includes some but not all weekends on a rota basis. A shift either starts 7.00am or midday and the latest finish is 8.00pm. Job Description Team Leadership/Supervision: Ensure the food service provision is carried out in accordance with all aspects of the Food Safety & Quality Management System and any relevant legislation Ensure all food is produced on time to the required quality standards. Prepare and serve food at additional functions as instructed. Ensure that all kitchen facilities and equipment is cleaned in accordance with the prescribed method and to the correct schedule. Lead, motivate, supervise the team. Organise, deliver and grow positive teams filled with pride. Assist and support management. Participate in supervisors' meetings. Operations: Liaise with and engage your team in building a proactive and positive relationship with the client. Monitor food production and service standards in line with policy standards, ensuring that any issues are professionally addressed in a responsive and timely manner Ensure all quality records are completed accurately and on time. Kitchen facilities and all equipment are cleaned in accordance with the prescribed method and to the correct schedule. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Health and Safety legislation and Codes of Practice, together with any specific on-site requirements of key clients.
