Who Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking qualified teachers with QTS, mentoring experience, and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children. You’ll need availability during or after school hours, and the ability to provide face-to-face tuition. We value excellent communication, reliability, and a passion for safeguarding.
What’s the Role?
* Subjects: Core subjects at KS1, KS2, KS3, including GCSE/Functional Skills.
* Full Time or Part-Time
* Schedule: Mon-Fri (Weekend availability)
* Location: Birmingham (Face-to-face tuition).
* Rate: £31-£45 per hour based on the content, not the learner's age.
KS1 - KS4 Material £31 or £36 (online vs person); KS5 Material or above - £40 or £45 (online vs person)
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or view our alternatives via our website
* Availability during school hours and/or after school
* Ability to provide face-to-face tuition (not online)
* Mentoring experience
* Valid Enhanced DBS check
* Based in the UK
* Right to work in the UK
* Able to work self-employed and up to 15 hours per week
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Excellent communication, timekeeping, reliability, and reporting skills
Education:
* Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
* Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
* Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
