6 month contract role* \n*Hybrid working with attendance in Manchester or Birmingham 2 or 3 times per week* \n*Inside IR35* \n*Experience of large Civil Infrastructure & NEC required* \n \nKey Accountabilities: \n \n - Ownership of the combined JV programme, including regular updates, reporting and management of the project schedule \n \n- Responsible for reviewing and accepting contractor programmes under NEC4 PSC \n \nDimensions of the job: - Client is in the early development stages (early FEED design) of a major HVDC connection. \n- Developing baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards. \n- You will be expected to manage and report on critical path analysis and assess and report and contractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager.
\n- You will utilise your expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team to deliver accurate cost forecasts for the client. \n- You can also expect to assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports. \n- Alongside working on live contracts you will also be working on projects during the pre-contract phase to provide an expert assessment of contactors tender programmes.
\n \nKnowledge & Experience: \n \n - Experience in major infrastructure projects is essential \n- Expert in utilising Primavera P6 planning software \n- Scheduling planning, forecast and reporting skills \n- Strong construction background with an understanding of consenting and early design phases \n- Extensive NEC 3 / 4 contract experience \n- Ideally you will have experience working within the Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector however individuals with experience working on public sector projects within a regulated environment (i.e. water, rail, aviation, nuclear etc.) are encouraged \n- Working as part of an integrated delivery team is essential
