Kennelbuild is a market-leading specialist in the design and construction of high-quality kennel and animal housing facilities for government agencies, charities, and luxury boarding providers. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and support our operations.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic and growing business. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing purchase ledger transactions
* Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Assisting with payroll preparation
* Bank reconciliations and managing cash flow records
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Assisting with VAT returns and financial reporting
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams on financial matters
* General administrative support within the finance and procurement departments
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience using Sage 50
* Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred but not essential
The Package
* £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience (full-time)
* Hybrid working
