The role:
The Parking Services team within Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a team of Car Park Attendants to join us at this exciting time!
The Car Park Attendant role involves administering an efficient and effective service managing and operating various street parking, required under the Road Traffic Act 1991 and other relevant legislation. Car Park Attendants deliver safe and accessible parking, as well as other parking provisions for visitors by responding to enquiries or issues and providing advice to members of the public.
The role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, manual handling and patrolling on foot for extended periods. It also involves working shifts and you will receive shift allowance and weekend enhancements as determined by your rota. We work various shifts from 6:00am-2:00pm, 10:30am-6:30pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am.
We are looking for candidates who have high standards of customer care and can remain calm when dealing with difficult situations. A good standard of education and excellent attention to detail are also required.
