Our L&D strategy for the Ampa group embraces a digital approach to the design and delivery of learning and development solutions via The ac@demy. The platform offers a wide choice of learning content in different formats. The underpinning ethos is flexible, bite-size and self-directed. The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the L&D team, the Early Careers team and colleagues across the Group to use ‘The ac@demy’ Learning Management System (LMS) to its full potential and to be considered an ac@demy LMS expert.
The role will support both the L&D Team and Early Careers Team in coordinating key programmes of activities from performing administrative tasks to supporting in person on the day.
What you will be doing:
* Work with the L&D team to ensure all programmes are delivered successfully, including liaising with the Workplace team to ensure rooms are booked, setup and catering is scheduled. Ensuring any pre-reports have been completed with delegates and are ready for the event. Creating events on ‘The ac@demy’ LMS platform for delegates to book on.
* Work with the Early Careers Team, providing a range of administrative tasks to support key recruitment activities, including coordinating rooms and meetings for interviewers and supporting on the day for assessment centres.
* Manage the teams’ supplier invoices and arrange for delegates fee agreements to be created and approved where needed. Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure payments are set up and paid on time.
* Learn how to use ‘The ac@demy’ LMS platform to upload new people and manage users of the system. Run reports to support key KPI’s across the business. Create and adapt courses and learning paths to support our business needs, including our Onboarding programme.
* Be proactive in offering support to each of the L&D and Early Careers teams to free them of current and future administrative tasks.
Provide administrative support to all workstream leads in the L&D function (including Early Ambitions)
* Support reporting requirements and help with projects that involve the extraction, manipulation, and analysis of the data from ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS).
* Contribute to and maintain documentation relevant to ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS) and related policies and procedures, performing day-to-day functions within ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS) such as maintaining the user database, assigning required learning modules, uploading online modules, and maintaining system functions.
* Assist in end-user training of ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS).
* Act as a role model, promoting the business values and brand, setting high standards through own behaviours and actions. Work collaboratively with the Learning Architect to develop and maintain The Academy (LMS), including finding and contributing to areas for innovation and improvement.
* Test new features, functionality, third-party software, integrations, and content in coordination with relevant stakeholders and teams as required.
* Perform wider L&D administrative duties to support the L&D team and the existing processes that the wider business currently use to access L&D services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and be an influencer and a ‘go-to’ person for all things ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS).
* Assist the Learning Architect with the setup of internal and external learning resources on ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS) for our people across the group.
* Respond to queries and enquiries from within the business. Manage fee agreements and study loans.
* Raise awareness of Learning & Development across the group, including liaison with internal communications team to highlight L&D activities relevant to the audiences they reach.
* Utilise ‘The ac@demy’ (LMS) data and analytics functions to provide management reporting information.
* Support the L&D Manager in monitoring the L&D budget and supplier management activity.
* Provide HR administration support when required.
* Have an awareness of confidential and sensitive data/documents.
What you will need:
* Proven ability in planning, organising, project management and delivery; able to prioritise multiple work-streams and meet key deadlines.
* Digital native – super user knowledge of Learning Management Systems, data management.
* Excellent data / Excel reporting skills.
* Proactive, self-starting and able to use own initiative to find solutions to challenges and problems.
* Collaborative and supportive – keen to work with others to develop ideas and build solutions.
* Comfortable understanding and managing system functions, courses and learning content, user data and reporting functionalities.
* Proven experience of being an effective relationship builder and stakeholder manager.
