The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex deals and working with high-profile clients, while leading the charge on larger, more complex business initiatives. Job Responsibilities Lead the identification and pursuit of high-value business opportunities in target markets. Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and high-profile clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives. Formulate and execute strategic business development plans to secure large, complex deals with significant revenue potential. Oversee the entire deal lifecycle, from lead generation to closure and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations. Work with Sales Development Representatives to build outreach plans and support their development. Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to shape business strategies and support organisational growth. Present business proposals and high-level presentations to C-suite executives, boards and other senior-level stakeholders. Monitor industry trends, economic shifts and regulatory changes to anticipate and capitalise on emerging opportunities. Track and report on sales metrics, business performance and market penetration, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrable business development or senior sales experience within the Cybersecurity industry. Strong leadership and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, particularly at senior management or C-suite level. Proven track record of managing large deals and building long-term client partnerships. Advanced knowledge of CRM systems and business development software tools.
