Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an experienced IT Support Engineer - Voice to be based in the London office.
Main responsibilities within the IT Support Engineer - Voice position include:
* Support, monitor and manage the voice trading systems used by Tradition (currently Opentrade, Cloud9, Cisco Call manager, Redbox Recorder).
* Working with third party vendors to escalate issues and perform reactive and pro-active maintenance.
* Working with third party vendors and clients to manage / test / add / change new voice lines.
* Attend and fix voice line related problems.
* Attend and fix any dealer board problems.
* Work with project team and 3rd line support when required.
* Make all administrative amendments to voice systems as appropriate – new starters / leavers etc.
* Facilitate new line testing.
* Responsible for reporting line faults and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
* Third party supplier and client relations.
* Support and assist with desk moves and remote working setups for users.
* Manage internal inventory and ensure we always have sufficient stock of spares.
* Ensure that all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements are being fulfilled.
* Any other duties that may reasonably be requested.
Key skills and experience required in this role:
* Proven technical troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good knowledge of Dealer board systems, in particular Opentrade and Cloud9.
* Good knowledge of voice recording systems, in particular Redbox.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop products.
* Good knowledge of structured cabling / patching / troubleshooting hardware connectivity issues in an office environment.
* Familiarity with supporting applications running on Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
* Familiarity with supporting applications running on Linux operating systems.
* Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and general Voice trading solutions desirable.
