We are recruiting on behalf of Ealing Council for a Finance assistant. Job Description Processing requests and payments of goods and services using financial system. Setting up new Suppliers and Customers. Raising sales invoices; chasing outstanding debts and managing the collections process. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Assisting with month end procedures and financial reporting. Producing and updating monthly reports. Preparing monthly payroll file for submissions and assist with any payroll queries. Running management reports. Undertaking any other relevant duties or instructions as directed by line manager or Finance Director. Ensuring that all internal and external inquiries are logged and responded to accurately and promptly and confirmation is received that the customer is satisfied. Assisting with any adhoc queries. The ideal candidate will have 3 years proven experience working in Finance and part qualified in CCAB. As well as being ICT literate and able to utilise all microsoft office applications. Working week Monday - Friday. This role will be temp to perm 16 week trial.
