Pest Inspector - Midlands Salary circa £38,000 - £42,000 Excellent Benefits Bonus Remote - Field Based We are seeking a skilled Pest Technical Consultant Field Biologist to join a Pest Consultancy. The role will involve inspecting and auditing various manufacturing, warehousing, and retail facilities. This position is remote/field-based with an ideal location in the Midlands/home counties due to customer proximity. About the Role Perform inspections and audits in accordance with industry-recognized standards. Produce detailed and accurate photographic inspection reports. Deliver customer reports on time, adhering to KIPC Company Policy. Schedule and manage inspection work allocations provided. Supervise and train new or less experienced employees. Develop business opportunities for products and services offered by the Company. Key Requirements Knowledge of legislation related to public health pest control. Familiarity with storage and transport of pesticides. Understanding of biology, behavior, and control of rats and mice. Control of other vertebrate pests including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats. Public health insect pest biology and control including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, biting insects, stored product insects. Pesticide application equipment knowledge. Personal protective equipment expertise. Familiarity with pesticide formulations and active ingredients. Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas. Dynamism, problem-solving aptitude, teamwork, persistence, accuracy, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results-oriented attitude. Qualifications Practical pest control experience in diverse facilities. RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management. BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management. Level 3 Food Safety certification. BPCA Certificated Field Biologist.
