This is an exciting role for a talented educator who wants to inspire young minds and deliver a high-quality curriculum in Health & Social Care, Childcare, and PSHE.
Responsibilities of a Teacher of Health & Social Care:
Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Health & Social Care, Childcare, and PSHE to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
Plan and implement a curriculum that supports students’ academic and personal development, building practical knowledge and skills relevant to future careers.
Inspire and motivate students to explore topics such as health services, child development, and social care, with a focus on real-world application.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, ensuring every learner achieves their full potential.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged and valued.
Contribute to the delivery of PSHE topics that promote student wellbeing and personal growth.
The Ideal Health & Social Care Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience in teaching Health & Social Care or related subjects.
A genuine passion for Health & Social Care, Childcare, and personal development education.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring lessons to life through practical and engaging teaching methods.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
