The Centre for Excellence leads institutional work in relation to the research and evaluation of evidence-driven enhancement of curriculum and pedagogy. This work underpins the University’s achievements in relation to Access and Participation, Teaching Excellence, and the good outcomes of all within our learning community. Library & Learning Services are at the heart of learning, teaching, and research of our growing University, supporting students at every stage of their learning journey. Our purpose is to be a pillar for academic excellence at the university through our provision and curation of resources and services that facilitate independent learning and research success. About the role Library Services Administrators are the public face of University of Suffolk Library providing excellent front-line customer service to all users in support of learning, teaching, research and engagement. The role supports the management of our collections including acquisitions, cataloguing, circulation, subscriptions, digitisation and reading list management. Library Services Administrators will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience in the delivery of high-quality services that exceeds customer expectations. Our team takes pride in providing the best possible user experience throughout our library and learning spaces. They will assist in maintaining a conducive learning environment, answer enquiries, and support the use of a wide range of library self-service and IT & digital facilities. They will work collaboratively with team members to share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement within library services. About you You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple tasks or activities at one time. You will have experience of dealing with a range of customers in a busy environment and provide excellent customer service.
