Are you musical? Do you have experience in putting on events for others to be entertained? Looking to give something back or for some stability in your working life? Perhaps you’ve worked in the community, hotels, park entertainments, or within Theatre. This could be perfect for you.
Key Benefits: Massive job satisfaction, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
What would your day look like?
Every day we have a variety of activities on offer to our residents. You would be coordinating activities such as group singing, acting, games in the garden, minibus trips, or quizzes, and obviously incorporating some of your own flair!
You’ll support work within the community, inviting people to our coffee mornings, fayres, and functions, helping make these events a success. Seeing the immediate positive reaction of our residents is the best feeling!
What we’re looking for:
It’s simple really, our residents' well-being is of great importance, and what’s better than sharing smiles and laughter to brighten everyone’s day!
You’ll be a team player with a caring and patient attitude, who feels confident in front of groups and in one-to-one activities.
If you have a background in theatre, music, or performance, this is the job for you.
We’re an award-winning, family-owned, independent care home group, with an outstanding reputation in the industry. This is due to our amazing people and our focus on keeping the resident at the heart of everything we do.
We strive to be the best we can, hence why all 21 of our nursing homes are rated at least good and 7 are outstanding by the CQC, our national regulator.
If a career in elderly care is for you, then you want to be part of the team at Colten Care.
Additional Benefits:
* Annual pay review
* Choice of meal
* Excellent inductions, training, and ‘on the job’ support
* Real career progression opportunities
* Additional hours/overtime opportunities to suit your circumstances
