Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire Salary: £35,000 per annum – depending on experience Hours: 37.5 hours / Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm / Friday 8am to 1:30pm Our client is a well-established Fastener Manufacturer and Distributor, and are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role your will be supporting the production department with all preventative and reactive maintenance, focussing on reducing machine downtime. You will need the following to be successful for this position: ⦁ Full UK working rights (no sponsorship offered). ⦁ Previous experience in electrical and mechanical machinery maintenance. ⦁ A comprehensive knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems. ⦁ Fault detection and repair experience on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment. ⦁ Ability to read engineering and technical drawings. Your day-to-day duties will include the following: ⦁ Carrying out routine preventative maintenance (PM) programmes, in collaboration with departmental supervisors. ⦁ Responding to and carrying out emergency repairs to plant and equipment as a priority. ⦁ Some general machining, fitting, and design work. ⦁ Maintaining PM stores and records within the company's CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). ⦁ Communicating all issues and concerns with your supervisor to ensure efficient workflow. ⦁ Assisting with project work aimed at improving production plant, equipment, and operational methods to increase productivity and achieve zero defects. ⦁ Identifying cost savings, quality issues, production issues, and health and safety concerns.
