Amazon Logistics Japan is looking to hire an experienced Manager to lead the Seller (Shipper) Experience and Performance management for an innovative new logistics business that will unlock unexplored opportunities. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business that is growing at an incredible pace. You will be part of the core Operations team that will be handling the Amazon business and operations across all legs of the supply chain (first mile, middle mile, and last mile). You will also be coordinating the continuous improvement and operational excellence projects in Japan to deliver a world-class customer experience.
You will be a natural self-starter with solid leadership skills, comfortable navigating large, complex, and cross-functional business operations. Your true hands-on approach, operational inclination, analytical skills, and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide stakeholder group will enable you to generate creative solutions to industry-level strategic problems. As this position involves regular interaction with various functional teams and people at all levels of the organization, you need to be comfortable communicating robustly with them. This position also requires collaboration with stakeholders from around the world, and you will be expected to undertake international business trips to destinations including the US and India.

Key job responsibilities
As part of Amazon's innovative new logistics service, the Seller Experience & Performance (SXP) Manager will oversee the optimization of Seller (shipper) experience and performance management. This role involves project management and operational execution in collaboration with Sellers, as well as cross-functional teams across Biz, Tech, and Ops.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maximizing Seller Experience
o Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to enhance Seller satisfaction and engagement.
o Lead end-to-end solution design and deployment, including requirement definition, development, testing, and implementation through effective project management.
o Provide operational support to Sellers to streamline processes and ensure a seamless experience.
2. Seller Performance Management
o Establish and maintain comprehensive shipping guidelines to drive operational excellence.
o Conduct audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
o Monitor and analyze performance metrics, driving initiatives to achieve continuous improvement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree
* 2+ years of experience in the operations field in the logistics/transportation/manufacturing or related industry
* 2+ years of experience in operating process management and/or improvement
* 2+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
* Fluent level of Japanese (writing, speaking)
* Business level of English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 2+ years of experience in the operations field of the logistics/transportation industry
* 2+ years experience in project/program management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python
* Experience in communicating with external stakeholders (clients, vendors, sellers, etc.)
