We are looking for a Payroll Configuration Analyst who will work closely with new clients, the WTW Payroll Team and the Data Migration team, to ensure that the installation of Pensioner Payroll for new clients, and all client changes, are implemented to the highest standard.The role of Payroll Configuration Analyst requires a colleague to be technically minded, adept at understanding, documenting and communicating the context and impact of data and configuration changes within a system. Experience in a Pensioner Payroll environment is essential, either in the context of running Payrolls or in Payroll Configuration. We are looking for a Pensioner Payroll person who has made the jump to Systems, or who wants to.Working under the direction of the Principal Analyst, the Analyst will manage the touchpoint between Client installs and configuration, and the WTW Pensioner Payroll System, and as such would give you a good understanding of the full systems structure, with multiple avenues for professional development.As a Payroll Configuration Analyst, you will need to be able to understand the impact of data items within the system whilst also understanding the context in which such items would be set. You should be able to interpret business or legislative requirements in relation to their practical impact.Overall, the role is changeable and ideal for a candidate who understands Payroll and enjoys working with systems software and data. The Role Responsible for the interpretation of configuration requirements for Payroll functionality within the BenefitConnect system, for trouble-shooting payroll system issues and executing data related tasks concerning payroll operation.The role requires the associate to: Work on end-to-end processes within a Payroll Installation project from Data Analysis, Data Mapping, to Data Load and Reconciliation. Support Client teams on small and large projects to figure out the best way to apply client-specific changes for Pensioner Payroll. Work alongside our Payroll Administration team on ad hoc requirements and projects such as supporting End of Tax Year. The Requirements Experience working on Pensioner Payroll data AND/OR experience working in a Pensioner Payroll environment Good understanding of the UK pensions payroll technical landscape is essential. This position requires a passion for technical detail together with effective review and problem-solving skills. Good system and data analysis skills Basic database and SQL skills would be useful, but training will be available. The candidate should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for data handling and data reporting - possibly gained doing complex data work in Excel or Access.
