The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen with Charles Taylor Specialist Investigations Services. We are seeking a Special Investigator to join our Business Unit, playing a crucial role in protecting our clients from fraudulent activity. If you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for uncovering fraudulent claims, this could be the role for you!
As a Special Investigator, you will conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims, working closely with colleagues, clients, law enforcement, and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investigate potentially fraudulent claims across various insurance products through cognitive telephone interviews, validation calls, video interviews, and liaising with UK/International offices and associates to coordinate field investigations. Ensure all revenue opportunities are explored.
2. Adhere to relevant legislation related to your role.
3. Triaging suspected fraud referrals and recommending or implementing investigations.
4. Capture and record complaints following current FCA guidelines.
5. Maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
6. Record fraud savings for clients.
7. Act as a role model and be approachable to colleagues.
8. Assess evidence impartially and make informed decisions.
9. Manage your own case load, ensuring all tasks are up to date.
10. Write detailed repudiation/challenge letters and investigation reports.
11. Maintain high customer service standards while protecting client liability and ensuring only valid claims are paid.
12. Deal with high-profile, high-cost claims, and debt recovery as needed.
13. Possess or be willing to study for a fraud qualification.
14. Upload Discovery Social Media and Open Source Intelligence reports to Charles Taylor's portal.
15. Conduct QA on reports to ensure high standards.
Person Specification
Ideally, the candidate understands general insurance and fraud investigation practices, including the evidence required to reject claims on fraud grounds.

Salary and Benefits
