As the Head of English and Drama, you will:

* Line manage the teacher in charge of academic drama, teacher in charge of performance drama and the librarian.

The English and Drama department is a friendly, supportive and hard-working team who deliver an inspiring and engaging curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. At GCSE the IGCSE specifications are followed for English Literature and English Language and at A Level we follow the OCR English Language and Literature specification. In Year 7 students are taught English in mixed ability form groups, from Year 8 through to GCSE, students are taught according to ability. Drama is taught in Key Stage 3, with the AQA specification followed at both GCSE and A level.
