They are dedicated to delivering excellence and exceeding client expectations through their professional and client-focused approach and are now recruiting an Associate Director - Quantity Surveyor to their Birmingham office. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate Director - Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing their Quantity Surveying team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management, providing strategic advice to clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, extensive industry experience, and exceptional communication skills. This consultancy work with both private and public sector clients across the Midlands, they are on a number of Frameworks and along side their private clients, they have a very healthy pipeline of projects. The new Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate Director will be responsible for delivering existing projects and helping to win new schemes. Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the quantity surveying team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development. - Oversee all cost management activities, including cost planning, estimating, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide strategic advice to clients on cost and commercial matters, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. - Prepare detailed cost reports, feasibility studies, and tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. - Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs and enhance value for clients. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. You are MRICS or working towards chartership and want to demonstrate your leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, then we want to hear from you.
