Business Support Manager/Laboratory Administrator
We are seeking a Business Support Manager to join the Microbiology team based at Glangwili hospital in Carmarthen. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well-motivated, and innovative, with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to lead and support individual and team working.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide business management, corporate, and operational support to Public Health Wales. The post holder may coordinate and implement cross-cover support to office functions within Public Health Wales, and provide appropriate support and advice to administration, clerical staff, senior managers, and consultants.
This is a key role to ensure efficient and effective support to the team, which includes preparing monthly/quarterly reports and contracts, providing high-level support to projects, and undertaking specific tasks.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 4, Degree, or equivalent level of experience
* Advanced ECDL
Experience
* Experience in a supervisory/managerial role
* Experience of operating Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience of producing management information reports
* Experience of managing, maintaining, and developing systems and procedures
* Experience of implementing administrative policies and procedures
* Experience of formal minutes taking
* Experience working in an NHS environment
Skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and self-manage workload
* Able to organise multi-disciplinary meetings and events
* Excellent management and communication skills
* Advanced IT/keyboard skills
* Ability to speak Welsh/willingness to learn

£30,420 to £37,030 a year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
