To support the the expansion of our contract, we are introducing a brand new role of Scheduling Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the team of both Reactive and Void Schedulers. This will be a full time permanent basis based within our new office in Aldershot. The Scheduling Manager will be responsible for liaising with the Delivery Managers and the Schedulers to ensure that resource is being correctly allocated work to ensure that the deadlines will be met. They will be the point of contact for any questions from the delivery managers overseeing the entire contract to ensure that information is correctly reported. You will be the subject matter expert for managing the systems and ensuring the data is correctly reported. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) Managing a team of Schedulers, ensuring that both the Void and Response departments resources are correctly allocated to the jobs that are required to meet the required deadlines. Manage the scheduling systems (such as Maximo or Void Tracker) to ensure we are meeting service requirements across the contract Monitoring the teams performance and providing training and support where required Communicating with Delivery Managers and Area Manager to provide detail of work activity across the team Reporting on weekly and monthly stats to be shared with Senior Management Experience Required: Proven experience within a management role where you are able to monitor teams performance to ensure it is being completed to a high standard at all times Knowledge and experience in scheduling within the facilities/maintenance industry will be required for this role and ideally would be across both reactive and void work. Ability to manage your own diary to ensure that all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy at all times Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be liaising with customers, engineer and senior leadership on a regular basis Be highly self-motivated with a passion to succeed. Strong attention to detail You must have advanced knowledge of Excel and MS packages Experience of working within systems is required for this role Able to identify opportunities for advancing the organisations mission while maintaining an awareness of the business areas and associated risk.
