If you are patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting children's development, this role is ideal for you Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Provide tailored support to a child on a one-to-one basis, focusing on their academic and emotional well-being. Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver customised lesson plans and learning resources. Help the child stay focused and engaged during lessons, adapting activities to suit their needs. Monitor the child's progress and contribute to their academic and social development. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence and independence. Essential Requirements: Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team. A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative. Desirable: Experience working with children with additional learning needs. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
