Key responsibilities: Develop compelling and SEO-friendly copy for the website, blog, email campaigns, social media, and product descriptions. Create informative and engaging content that educates and excites the businesses target audience about their products. Collaborate with the marketing & e-commerce team to create and execute content strategies that align with their brand voice and marketing goals. Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant. Edit and proofread content to ensure it is error-free and adheres to brand guidelines. Monitor content performance and use insights to optimize and improve future content. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to keep content fresh and relevant. Optimise web content, fix technical issues, and enhance site performance. Experience and skills required: Proven experience as a digital copywriter or similar role. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. An understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques is a bonus, not essential. Familiarity with digital marketing channels and content distribution platforms. Ability to conduct thorough research and present complex information in a clear and engaging manner. Creativity and a passion for storytelling Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
