The ideal candidate will evaluate and support students’ gross motor skills, mobility, and physical development, collaborating with educational teams to deliver effective therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements:
1. Must hold a valid Washington State license to practice physical therapy.
2. Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent).
3. Experience working with children, preferably in school settings.
4. Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy plans for students with special needs.
5. Knowledge of gross motor development, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment.
6. Ability to design and execute therapy programs aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
7. Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and IEP teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct evaluations of students' gross motor skills, balance, and physical functioning, including written reports.
2. Provide data and progress updates for goals and objectives outlined in students' IEPs.
3. Deliver physical therapy services under appropriate licensure to students in member districts.
4. Perform therapy evaluations in alignment with the discipline's licensure.
5. Participate in the development of and attend Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
6. Administer therapy services as specified in the frequency and intensity outlined in the IEPs.
7. Recommend and assist with the use of adaptive equipment and provide training on its proper use.
8. Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
9. Maintain communication and collaboration with school staff, parents, and IEP teams.
10. Ensure confidentiality and proper use of email for communication, reporting, and service delivery.
