An established, child-centric children's home specialising in the care of young people with mild learning disabilities is seeking an experienced leader to join the team.

This role would be perfect for an experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager / Supervisor or a Registered Manager / Residential Children’s Homes Manager who is looking for a new challenge.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING PROVIDED
If you already have your Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), then great. If not the company will provide training to get you up to that level.
SALARY: circa. £45,500 per annum (Negotiable) + Bonus + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Walmer, Deal, Kent
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday with some on call weekend duties
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will need a Drivers Licence

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Registered Manager / Residential Children’s Homes Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager who is looking to progress their career with a small family run company with two other residential children’s homes in the area, rated good and outstanding by Ofsted.
As the Registered Manager / Residential Children’s Homes Manager you will join a company whose ethos is to provide positive, child centred care based on various models of care tailored to the child’s individual needs.
Working as the Registered Manager / Residential Children’s Homes Manager you will be responsible for managing a team, helping them to work together to provide the highest standards of care, developing their skills and knowledge and creating a positive culture within the home.
The company has developed excellent relationships with parents, Local Authorities, social workers and outside professionals, working in partnership to deliver and oversee that each child’s care plan is facilitated, targets met and best achievements and positive outcomes promoted.
As a successful candidate you must be passionate about providing children the opportunity to have the best outcome possible based on their individual needs. The children’s safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of all decisions made.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As part of the recruitment process, the company offer candidates the opportunity to meet with the other managers within the company, to ascertain whether their values are in alignment with your ethos.
We are looking for:
• Previous experience working in residential childcare
• Must have some experience supervising and managing staff working in a care role
• Candidates that hold a full, UK driving licence
DESIRABLE
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. If you’re not Level 5 the company will provide training to get you up to that level
