For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our London, Swindon or Northampton office. What you’ll be doing
* Use internal and external information to build understanding and insight of savings and current account performance and effectively communicate this to key stakeholders.
* Use your commercial, numerical, and analytical skills to lead on the development of pricing proposals and operational forecasts.
* Lead analysis to inform decisions that will play a vital role in maintaining the profitability and sustainability of one of the most important areas of our business.
About you
* You will be a self-motivated, numerate and logical thinker who is able to create, gather and analyse data to piece together and clearly communicate the bigger picture.
* Strong PC skills, technical aptitude and experience in developing and maintaining analytics and reporting tools.
* Previous experience within an analytical role.
* Experience interpreting, manipulating and simplifying large datasets into digestible visuals and using complex formulae in Excel.
* Experience of leading and co-ordinating analytical pieces of work from initial brief to final recommendations.
* Experience of building relationships at all levels.
* Able to work well on your own initiative, with excellent time management skills.
* Be able to respond to a fast-paced market and maintain an ongoing understanding of latest market dynamics.
* Demonstrate curiosity and use your own initiative to uncover deeper insights.
