Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager– Data Centres – UK and Globally

As our Data Centres team continues to expand, we’re seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in data centres and a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of data centre projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside industry-leading professionals, you’ll play a crucial role in managing key stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to drive projects forward in a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.
Your day to day will be varied depending on the project you are working on; this will keep you challenged and engaged in the work we deliver however some key responsibilities that will always remain constant are:
* Oversee the full lifecycle of data centre projects, from planning through to handover
* Manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards
* Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimise M&E solutions
* Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless communication across all parties
* Mitigate risks and troubleshoot project challenges proactively
About You
Who we're looking for
* Relevant experience in Project Management, experience in a regulated environment such as Data Centres, Life sciences, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Infrastructure or Petrochemical sectors is essential.
* Strong mechanical and electrical (M&E) knowledge, with a focus on complex building services. Ideally HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Engineering or Construction, similar / relevant discipline, or in some cases applicants with an alternative background may be considered.
* Professional qualifications and/or membership of the APM, RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or other relevant Chartered Institute are desirable, and will be supported if not already attained.
