The Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our client's team. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for managing the workshop team, driving operational excellence, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage and direct the workshop team, maintaining key objectives and target hours.
* Program and sequence all joinery items through the workshop, reporting progress to the Production Director.
* Implement manufacturing improvement methodologies and techniques to drive efficiency and quality.
* Ensure production meets demand requirements, overseeing quality systems to meet specifications and product expectations.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement, maintaining a motivated work environment.
Requirements
* Experience in bespoke joinery, including working with various materials.
* Proven track record of managing a joinery workshop team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read workshop drawings and understand production requirements.
