Main duties of the job
The primary focus of this role is to provide a blend of advisory and administrative support, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and general employee lifecycle administration. As the first point of contact for employees and managers, you will handle inquiries, promote adherence to policies, and offer guidance on HR best practices. Through accurate record-keeping and a commitment to regulatory compliance, you will contribute to a positive workplace environment and support key HR initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience and practice effectiveness.

Job responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, you'llmanage internal and external communications, oversee document handling andmaintaining up-to-date staff noticeboards. In this varied role, you'll support theHR Manager with employee relations (ER) cases, occupational health referrals,and perform risk assessments, ensuring a safe and supportive work environmentfor all staff. You'll assist in managing absence trigger point breach meetings,supporting the HR Manager by providing relevant data, helping documentdiscussions, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are implemented tomaintain consistent attendance standards across the practice.
You'll also be integral to our recruitment and onboarding process,working closely with managers to create job advertisements, manage theApplicant Tracking System, complete pre-employment checks, and conduct thoroughnew starter inductions. Beyond recruitment, you'll maintain accurate recordsfor payroll, absences, CPD, and clinical professional registrations. Bymanaging probation reviews, updating HR records, and ensuring timely completionof mandatory training, you'll help uphold our high standards of compliance andstaff development.
