What You'll Do:
Oversee daily operations with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
Lead a skilled team with enthusiasm, ensuring smooth workflows
Manage a fleet of mobile plant and supervise contractors
Ensure site operations comply with relevant legislation
Step up to deputise for the Production Manager during their absence

Key accountabilities
* To ensure that the company Health and Safety Policy, Local Managers Rules and all Risk Assessments and Method Statements relating to work or works under your control are complied with.
* To liaise closely with work colleagues, Depot Manager, Suppliers and Contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient running and programming of the Depot Operation
* To provide continuous supervision of Depot activities, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective utilisation of labour, plant and material resources.
* To continue you own progress by means of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) and by attending training courses and seminars as determined by Heidelberg materials .
* To identify, develop and implement improvements to the sustainability of the site
* To develop a planned maintenance scheme that ensures maximum plant availability.
Education/Qualification
* Must have achieved, or be prepared to work towards, a SHE NVQ level 4
