Main purpose of the role
We are seeking an organised and analytically driven individual with a keen eye for detail to support the merchandising team. You will be supporting the team in being responsible for the financial planning and stock management of all AYBL and Because of Alice (BOA) product. The merchandising team are responsible for strategically driving the business through effective planning, range building and trading. They work with the Buying, Sourcing, Design, Technical, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to achieve commercially successful outcomes for the department and wider business. You will need to help in ensuring we have the right products at the right time, in the right quantities, as well as the right price whilst applying commercial understanding and fashion sense.
The role has scope for the successful candidate to work with both brands, AYBL and BOA.
Roles & responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of all admin-based tasks.
* Accurately update systems used within the Merchandising department.
* Analyse and interpret data, highlighting opportunities and risks to communicate to the team.
* Work collaboratively with other teams across the business, but also suppliers to manage product critical paths.
* Help in managing the supply chain process with clear communication to all relevant parties.
Person Specification
* Previous Assistant Merchandising experience (the role may also suit a Merch Administrator who is ready to take the next step).
* Excellent data management and analytical skills with strong numerical ability.
* A good understanding of Excel would be advantageous.
* A keen eye for detail with a willingness to learn and develop is key.
* Ability to organize and prioritise a wide range of tasks within a fast-paced environment.
* Confidence to own the role, ability to use initiative and be a self-starter.
* A passion for the fitness and fashion industry (desirable, but not essential).

Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone’s throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
