Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join our respiratory team as a Respiratory Outpatient Physiotherapist. In this role youwork alongside the current Band 7 Respiratory Outpatient Physiotherapist to provide and deliver a highly specialist respiratory physiotherapy outpatient service at the RUH. Referrals are mostly from Consultant Physicians at the RUH but also respiratory nurse specialists (RNS) and ward based Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapists. You will use your highly specialist clinical skills during joint bronchiectasis clinics with the RNS and in your own physiotherapy clinics assessing and treatment planning for patients with Breathing Pattern Disorders, Airway Clearance issues, Chronic Cough, Complex Asthma, ILO, COPD, Pulmonary Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease. Main duties of the job The main duties of this role include planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the specialist respiratory physiotherapy out-patient services provided to the Trust on a day-to-day basis. You will undertake comprehensive specialist assessment of patients, including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies.
