We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and creating an exceptional dining experience for our Residence. This role requires a commitment to work for one of the largest facility companies in the UK. You will be cooking for 25-30 people. You must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate. This is a Temp-perm placement.
Responsibilities
Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
