Health, Safety and Environment Manager Job Family – Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment This family is dedicated to developing, implementing, improving and maintaining effective quality, health, safety and environment management systems that drive Survitec culture and create the safest operational and behavioural practices at all levels of the organisation Job Summary This role reports to the Regional Head of QHSE. It assists in the coordination and continuous improvement of the Survitec HSE management systems and approvals. As part of a wider QHSE team, the role provides the regional advice, guidance and support needed to drive adherence to HSE policy and practices Duties And Responsibilities Assists in the development of the Survitec regional compliance programme, championing the implementation and maintenance of the HSE system and procedures in accordance with global framework and regional regulations Implements systems and practices needed to monitor and assure compliance with Global IMS policies, group and customer requirements. Compiles statistical analysis of activity and outcomes and recommendations for improvement Advises and supports regional QHSE champions and site managers on the global QHSE framework, steps needed to improve regional HSE performance and on any HSE compliance issues Provides advice for continuous improvement on Manufacturing and Service products and services Carries out internal and external audits in line with the HSE audit calendar and supports Customers and/or third parties to carry out independent HSE audit activity Assists in the investigation of HSE non-conformances, ensuring they are investigated and reported in line with Survitec policy. Resolves issues arising from audits and investigations and refers serious or contentious issues to the Regional Head of QHSE Communicates urgent HSE matters to the region by producing and issuing in a timely manner HSE alerts and safety bulletins. Ensures the Regional Head of QHSE remains informed on progress, developments and incidents Reviews and develops HSE documentation according to ensure compliance with local operational, regulatory and Customer needs, liaising with relevant authorities and third parties as necessary to remain informed and knowledgeable. Monitors the legal register in line with regional activities Completes customer documentation on behalf of Survitec, for HSE elements of tender documents and Customer questionnaires Supports the regional implementation of company projects and change initiatives in regards to HSE advise.
