We partner with our healthcare commissioners across the UK & Ireland to deliver services that help them manage demand and reduce waiting lists. We deliver services for, Urgent Treatment Centres, NHS 111, GP out of Hours and a National Clinical Assessment Service from our Urgent Care Division.
Totally’s Urgent Care Division are seeking qualified General Practitioners to join us on a permanent salaried basis, at our GP OOH Service based in Sunderland Royal Hospital.
About the Role…
This is an exciting opportunity to maintain your skills and continue providing excellent patient care to suit your work life balance. We would welcome applications from capable, pro-active, and experienced GPs who have excellent communication skills, are calm under pressure and enjoy working within a team environment.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing both telephone triage assessments and face to face consultations either in one of our centres or the patient’s own home. You will take responsibility to ensure that all patients are dealt with appropriately and efficiently, whilst maintaining a high-quality service. You will work alongside clinical and operational colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care for all presenting patients.
This role will be supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

Your Day to Day…
Working as a GP within Totally’s Urgent Care Division, you will work autonomously in a safe and effective manner using your medical experience to support our patients to access the most appropriate care, at the right time and in the right place. You will be managing patients with urgent medical needs face to face and via telephone consultations whilst using our Adastra111 and Paccs system.
Whilst working within our urgent care division you will be part of a multi skilled team that includes advanced nurse practitioners and prescribing pharmacists.
We take pride in our strong infra structure that ensures clinical safety and provide you with senior clinical support 24 hours a day. This includes governance procedures and performance reviews.
We also provide regular teaching sessions delivered via Zoom.
* Fully qualified GP with full GMC registration

* GP statutory and mandatory training including BLS
