Segen is a fast-moving business that responds quickly to any market changes supported by its bespoke ERP system and database and team Role Summary The purpose of an order processor is to see all orders, placed by customers via the online portal, are managed in a timely and efficient manner. To ensure customers are kept up to date in relation to their orders and any issues they may be having with stock arriving. Main duties Processing orders placed online to completion Liaising daily with customers via the telephone and email Ensuring orders are fulfilled for stock and liaising with the Supply Chain Resolve customer & system queries Chase for payment Train customers on the Portal when the order has been placed Raise additional charges and credits on customer accounts Log Quality issues/complaints on the internal bespoke software Liaising with warehouse, transport, finance and sales regularly Monitoring returns to completion Monitor extended warranties to completion Manage the customer experience throughout the order process and beyond Planning with customers when orders will be despatched in line with project Additional duties The Order Processor may also need to: Assist the Resolution Team who deal with customer complaints Make changes to orders for customers Offer alternative products if stock is not available Reallocate stock in line with stock delays Main responsibilities Communicating with the customer via Telephone and Email Achieving a high number of processed orders/shipments per day Keeping up to date notes on orders Answering Calls Job Competencies – Technical Microsoft Office Telephone techniques Customer Service Job Competencies - Behaviours Polite telephone manner Good written communication skills Good office etiquette Understanding business rules What we offer: 25 days holiday EV Car scheme Pension Life Assurance Discounted company products Cycle to Work Scheme Electric Car scheme Career Development Employee Assistance Scheme Staff events and surprises
