Our client now seeks to recruit several experienced Financial Planning Administrators to join their existing team in Newcastle. These are newly created roles to boost additional headcount. As a key member of the Client Administration team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and servicing of private clients relating to their pension and investment needs. You will work closely with the Client Administration Team Leader and established team of Administrators to provide an integral function to the wider team.
Main Duties
The role will see you working closely with the Client Administration Team Leader and team of Administrators to provide an integral function to the wider team, including Paraplanners and Financial Planners. Client Administration Support and Servicing will include the following:
1. Providing proactive and dedicated assistance to Advisers
2. Managing Adviser’s diaries and arranging client meetings
3. Contacting clients by telephone/email
4. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as providers, to chase outstanding requirements
5. Preparing meeting packs and papers and ensuring they are ready for client appointments
6. Processing new business
7. Keying Illustrations, projections, and valuations
8. Raising invoices where required, and ensuring all remuneration records are correct, actively chasing providers and clients where remuneration is outstanding
9. Complying at all times with compliance and training and competence procedures
10. Actioning post in and out, sorting, prioritising on receipt, scanning and referring to appropriate adviser as and when applicable
Knowledge and Experience
1. Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of financial services administration
2. A strong level of technical and industry knowledge with a wide range of financial products and services
3. Confident using Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new systems and processes
4. Strong time management and prioritisation skills
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
