This role requires a talented new business sales person and account manager who preferably has, but not essentially, experience in selling and building long-term relationships with key decision makers in the NHS and other medical organizations.
Our client is a UK manufacturer of well-designed, quality furniture used by the NHS, Care Homes, and private healthcare. They need your tenacious drive and energy to build solid, long-term relationships with buyers and distributors mainly in the NHS and Healthcare sectors with the goal to become their “go-to” supplier. The role is to cover the North of England and will require overnight stays of 1-2 nights a week on average.
To be successful in this role you need:
* A passion and strong proven track record of winning new business and nurturing ongoing business relationships.
* Ability to plan and develop strategy to achieve agreed goals and targets.
* Preferably experience of visiting NHS sites to identify and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to influence supplier selection for new projects.
* Ongoing research of new projects and bid requests in the target market for new build and refurbishment projects that have a requirement for furniture.
* Collation and gathering of market intelligence of new projects, competitors, and prices with timely follow-through to maximize market opportunities as they occur.
* The nurture of team cooperation and communication with internal sales and customer services to support growth and deliver exceptional customer relationships.
The company offers a salary of up to £50k plus performance-related commission of up to £15k, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, and a company car allowance.
