1. The role is permanent and full-time
2. With flexible hybrid working arrangements, our Support Centre is based in Kearsley - M26 1GG
3. Must be flexible to travel across the UK when needed as per role requirements - car allowance included & travel expenses paid
4. This is a brand-new role in the department and will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of our digital transformation
5. With full autonomy in the role to transform the service by driving performance with our contractors

Your future, your role
As a Contractor Performance Manager you'll be:
1. Working with our specialist teams to drive innovation and efficiency across all aspects of maintenance with respect to supplier engagement and interaction with the central Facilities team
2. Supporting Contractor adherence to new system (IFS) processes to ensure successful implementation and transformation
3. Working with the Head of Estate Transformation to ensure clear tendering processes and governance are in place
4. Responsible for ensuring contractor costs are challenged and visible
5. Actively managing the performance of all Facilities contractors, supporting with immediate escalations/service concerns
6. Leading on tenders when required to retain competitive tension and drive value. Negotiating, preparing, and issuing contracts via DocuSign

Experience Required
1. Extensive relevant property experience within a large, multi-site organisation
2. A demonstrable and thorough knowledge of managing complex and numerous building projects, together with managing and implementing property maintenance processes and procedures
3. Proven track record of leading, developing, and inspiring skilled teams to achieve continuous improvement
