Are you an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a dynamic and supportive team? At Thanet Vets, we're seeking a passionate individual to join our nursing team. As an RVN with us, you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of general nursing tasks including laboratory sampling, anaesthetics, radiography, and assisting veterinary surgeons.
What's in it for you?
While clinical coaching experience is desirable, it's not necessary as training will be provided. You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational 5-week schedule that includes 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. With no out-of-hours responsibilities, you can focus on providing exceptional care during your shifts, knowing that Vets Now is there to support when you're off!
Be part of delivering clinical excellence
Thanet Vets has been a cornerstone of the Southeast coast community for over 60 years, providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. Our main branch in Margate, along with our satellite consulting branch in Birchington, offers a range of services including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy. We're proud to be a well-equipped practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. Beyond our professional duties, we value team camaraderie and socialise outside of work, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
About Our Talented Team
Join our close-knit team of veterinary professionals, including 6 Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs (2 SVNs soon to qualify), one Animal Care Assistant, and 9 support team members. With certificate holders in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, and ongoing pursuit of further qualifications in diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology, our team is committed to excellence and continuous learning. We're looking for individuals who share our values of enthusiasm, kindness, and teamwork, with excellent communication skills to contribute to our positive work environment.
What You’ll Bring

We welcome newly qualified nurses who are eager to grow and develop their skills within our supportive team. A valid UK driving licence is required for this role.
