Job summary An exciting opportunity exists to work in a dynamic and motivated team providing administration support to the North Adult CMHT. The North CMHT is a local mental health team based at Southey Hill. We provide care and treatment for individuals experiencing mental health problems who live in the community. This post is primarily focused on co-ordinating unplanned interventions and support for people awaiting allocation to a named worker and this will include the management of a clinic diary, allocating tasks to clinical staff members, the management of the email inbox and dealing with, at times complex and challenging telephone calls from internal and external organisations. You must be able to organise your own workload, prioritise your work effectively and have the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as an awareness of issues in relation to confidentiality. Main duties of the job The clinical administrator will be responsible for: Providing dedicated administration / secretarial support to all Clinical staff within the locality MDT's. Arranging and attending professional meetings and MDT meetings. Take minutes, typing up of and distributing of minutes / notes both internally and externally. Provide cover for MDT's and any other meetings as required. Being the lead for providing admin support for the individual care group you are allocated to and provide cross cover where required. Providing cover for the management of clinics across the service, including booking/cancelling appointments and ensuring associated correspondence is accurate and timely.
