About the Role:
As our Behaviour Support Officer, you will work closely with students, teachers, and the pastoral team to promote positive behaviour and support the emotional and social development of our students. Your role will involve:
* Implementing behaviour management strategies to foster a respectful and engaging school environment.
* Building strong relationships with students to encourage personal growth, resilience, and positive choices.
* Working with teachers to ensure consistency and support for students facing behavioural challenges.
* Monitoring and addressing behavioural issues, using proactive and restorative approaches.
* Supporting students with individualised behaviour plans and interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or a related field (ideally within an educational setting).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to handle challenging situations.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
