Job Description
PMO Leadership: Lead and manage the PMO team, providing strategic direction, mentoring, and support to ensure the successful execution of all projects.
Governance & Compliance: Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and internal policies.
Portfolio Management: Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, customer data and internal reporting.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure project success.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track project progress, budget adherence, and resource utilization, providing regular updates to senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment on objectives, and effective resolution of project-related issues.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, leveraging lessons learned and industry trends to enhance project management capabilities.
Training & Development: Design and implement training programs for project managers and team members to build project management skills and capabilities across the organization.
Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of project resources, ensuring that projects are adequately staffed and that resources are effectively managed.
Change Management: Support change management efforts related to project implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies.
Qualifications
This role is excellent for a person with:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on partnership or deal management, or product marketing and product management.
PMO, PM or PMM roles at tech, media, telco or enterprise companies strongly preferred.
Strong negotiation and deal management skills.
Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage projects and deals independently and effectively.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Project, JIRA)
Exceptional communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with proven success driving programs
Hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done.

This job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes Office
