Scheme Manager – Part Time

- £18,300 per year
28 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 16:00pm
We are looking for a Scheme Manager to join our Housing team which consists of Housing Officers and Scheme Managers. Based at Queen Elizabeth Court, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme ensuring there are no risks to the residents or assets in the scheme. The role offers an onsite presence and encourages residents who are either elderly or vulnerable to live as independently as possible.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual, who puts the resident first and can work independently using processes to ensure the scheme is well managed and run efficiently.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Completing compliance testing including fire alarm checks and water temp checks
- Reporting any hazards and supporting the repairs of these to ensure communal areas are kept free
- Completing weekly wellbeing calls to residents who require this service at the scheme and make safeguarding referrals when required
- Referring residents to support agencies when required and helping them access the different service available to them
- Dealing with low level anti-social behaviour complaints within the scheme and resolving resident disputes
Skills and experiences:
- Experience of working with older people in a support capacity and understanding their individual needs or similar
- Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Excellent knowledge of effective communication at all levels
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Experience of resident involvement and community care values would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £23,774 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £24,510 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
