We are looking for a Payment Operations Analyst to join our team in Bradford (BD4) on a fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role with expectations to work in the office at least two days a week. The team handles Purchase to Pay, Billing, Customer Payments, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and Travel and Expenses. This crucial role within the Payment Operations function focuses on managing our VMUK and VMIE customer accounts. As part of the Customer Relations team, this position is vital in supporting customer objectives in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs. Reporting to the Payment Operations Manager, this role ensures the precise and efficient execution of Payment Operation processes, consistently delivers high-quality support to stakeholders, and evaluates and enhances current processes by collaborating with Digital Teams to implement effective solutions. What will you be doing? Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier data. Collaborate with senior stakeholders within the Liberty Global Group for swift and effective query resolution. Communicate with third-party suppliers to resolve complex queries when necessary. Reconcile supplier statements and accounts using third-party technology, Microsoft Suite, and Oracle Fusion. Prepare invoices for weekly payment runs and handle ad-hoc payment requests. Lead month-end close processes. Support all aspects of the Purchase to Pay process, from requisition to payment. Prepare and document operational controls. Review team processes and actively promote suggestions for improving procedures and systems We tend to look for people with: Essential: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a fast-paced accounts payable or receivable department. Adaptable and quick to learn new skills. Effective verbal communication skills for explaining issues. Proficient in MS Excel. Desirable: Experience with Finance/Procurement systems such as Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud, and ERP. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets without compromising quality.
