The Growth Company’s Business Growth Hub team have an exciting opportunity for an Enquiry/Outbound Advisor who will handle and effectively manage proactive outbound customer calls, emails, and other omnichannel contact centre routes, plus face-to-face engagements when required. All customers contacted by the team will receive a business skills review to identify their growth potential and business support requirements.
Whilst working to funding requirements; queries will be managed throughout the referral of businesses to internal/external services as required.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is to engage with businesses, self-employed and employed individuals within Greater Manchester region to promote Workforce Development Services with the aim to produce maximum impact in terms of assisting clients reach their full growth potential.
* Handling client enquiries via; phone (inbound and outbound campaigns), email and face-to-face (walk-in visitors, library service and events/networking).
* Outbound selling of the Workforce Development Programme and the wider GC Business Growth Hub range of specialist services.
* Completion of diagnostic tools to assess the growth potential and business needs of each customer.
* Throughout the client engagement process, use appropriate questions, tools, processes and systems where required and establishing/maintaining effective relationships and key client contacts.
* Ensure all potential clients comply with the project eligibility criteria by ensuring that initial eligibility checks are carried out and recorded.
* Following the initial conversation, clients will be referred and introduced to appropriate internal/external specialist services identified as appropriate and this will be recorded on the CRM system.
* Undertake outbound campaigns, this will include warm and cold calls to potential customers across the region to promote and introduce Hub services and to make qualified referrals internally and externally.
Experience:
* Proven track record of working effectively in outbound sales teams and account management.
* Experience of marketing / engagement with businesses and relationship management, including liaising with senior management or Director level.
* Knowledge of key challenges / support needed businesses experience.
* Presentation skills both written and oral.
* Excellent communication and networking skills.
* Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
* Well-developed digital skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management, e-mail and CRM databases.

* Can develop technical knowledge in the key areas of business growth.
* Can quickly develop knowledge and understanding of the key national, sub-regional and local organisations and their role in supporting economic development and specifically business growth.
* Understanding of customer-focused approach of working with businesses to foster engagement and encourage commitment to working towards economic development.
* Ability to identify opportunities and to be innovative.
* Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
