Description
The Maintenance Technician is the go-to person regarding daily maintenance issues and upkeep for the location. He/she reports directly to the Front of House Managers and Facility Maintenance Manager. Shifts are scheduled during the week, in order to effectively follow all programs and ensure that the venue is in good running condition for the day.
Requirements
The Maintenance Technician should have the ability to perform the following:
Knowledge
* Exhibit basic knowledge of the following areas:
* Bowling
* Kitchen Maintenance
* Plumbing
* Electrical
* Basic use of electrical tools
Communication
* Ability to communicate issues, concerns, and progress regarding all aspects of the facility in a clear and timely manner to the correct personnel.
* Must be the liaison between departments and inform Exec Chefs, GMs, and Director of Sales on any issue that may affect service or events.
* Enforce that all spec spreadsheets and logs are being used correctly.
Organization
* Ability to complete tasks in an organized and timely manner.
* Maintain a clean workplace throughout the shift.
* Ensure workshop cleanliness and organization behind the bowling area.
* Responsible for shoveling snow, salting, and ensuring cleanliness of the walkway/entranceway.
The Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible for both performing the daily maintenance projects and managing the Pinchaser(s) at their location.
Bowling Upkeep and Repair
Ensures that the Pinchaser is trained and performing the correct steps for any bowling issues.
Building Maintenance
* Lightbulbs
* Drywall / Painting / Staining / Grout
* Table levelers
* Chair glides
Kitchen Maintenance Issues
* In the case of a Kitchen Maintenance issue, the Maintenance Mechanic is to call the Facility Manager to inform them of the issue and ensure that all proper steps are being taken.
* For HVAC or Electrical Issues, no steps are to be taken until given consent by the Facility Manager to ensure that all proper steps are being taken.
Monthly Inventory
* Performs monthly inventory for lightbulbs and bowling parts.
* Communicates any needed parts to the General Manager and Facility Manager in a timely manner.
* All checklists and audits must be completed to the letter.
