Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a crucial part of the team within an Accountancy Practice? We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Payroll Manager to supervise junior members of the team and process client-based payrolls.
Responsibilities
* Support the planning, prioritizing, and allocation of all relevant client payroll work within own and client's team.
* Conduct payroll processing during peak times and delegate client work during periods of normal demand.
* Review all payroll processing work of the team.
* Supervise Seniors, Semi-Seniors, and Assistants who are involved in processing payroll.
* Develop and build relationships internally for cross-referral opportunities and to become a valued team member across the firm.
Experience
* 5+ years in payroll processing.
Desirables
* Supervision experience.
* Accountancy/bureau background with high volume client-based payroll experience.
* Payroll qualification such as CIPP.
