You’ll be reporting to the Senior Paraplanner and, ultimately, to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Writing financial planning and suitability reports and letters using appropriate research tools to ensure the best client outcomes.
2. Ensuring the client file, including Fact Find, Adviser meeting notes, and product information, is fully and comprehensively complete.
3. Ensuring client files, suitability reports, and letters are compliant and technically accurate, liaising with compliance support as needed.
4. Obtaining illustrations, information, and valuations from product providers as required.
5. Completing and checking tax calculations where necessary.
6. Submitting business to providers promptly, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
7. Providing support and training to educate and guide other staff members where required.
8. Assisting with research as needed to support the Proposition Team.
9. Following established processes and workflows.
10. Maintaining your daily task organiser, planning your workload, and meeting deadlines.
11. Delivering an efficient, friendly, and professional service for all clients, providers, professional partners, and visitors.
12. Working in line with the organisation’s CPD scheme and T&C scheme.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Achieved CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
2. Working towards CII Level 6 Chartered Financial Planner (desirable).
3. Minimum 1 year experience in a paraplanning role.
4. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 programmes and, desirably, Intelligent Office.
5. Strong organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Good grasp of English language and mathematical concepts.
8. Takes personal responsibility for consistently delivering high-quality work with an excellent level of attention to detail.
