Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Manager Shropshire based Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00. Established and expanding business Global reach Exciting plans for the future Desirable work environment Duties •Take ownership of the QMS and Quality Policy and maintenance of the company's ISO9001 •approval status •Design & maintain quality standards, procedures and specifications for the business •Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards •Review and audit current procedures to ensure they meet QA / QC guidelines •Analyse, identify &and implementing manufacturing and/or business process improvements •Provide QA expertise to support manufacturing •Review and test samples & first article parts as well as inspecting parts/materials for defects •Develop & maintain Occupational Health & Safety policy, governance arrangements as well as Health & Safety management systems •Measure and report on Health & Safety performance •Identify hazards, complete risk assessments and incident investigations •Align health and safety decision-making with business decision-making and risk management •Train / educate colleagues in order to enhance Health & Safety culture •Oversee facility-based activities in order to meet EHS standards Essential •Be currently working as a QHSE Manager in a manufacturing environment •Have experience of managing / maintaining a ISO9001 Quality Management System •Possess strong investigative and problem-solving skills •Have exceptional communication skills across presenting & reporting, •Be able to Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships •Advanced IT skills •NEBOSH / IOSH accreditation •Knowledge of national or international industry regulations.
